I am a freelance writer and editor based in Wick, in the north Highlands of Scotland.

I mainly write for B2B publications, and I have a particularly strong background in finance and education. I started out as a senior editor at a magazine publisher, working mainly on customer and internal magazines, before moving into digital media through a job at Channel 4. From there I developed considerable experience in developing and writing online campaigns, most notably canongate.tv for Canongate Books in Edinburgh.

The best part of my job is having the opportunity to learn about a vast range of subjects, and I pride myself on being able to adapt my writing style to suit any sector and audience. In the past I have written on subjects as diverse as performance art, economics, biodiversity, corporate governance, spinal surgery, digital evolution and architecture. I believe that every organisation has a unique and interesting story to tell, and it's my job to help them tell it.
